Victory Beach Vacations should be your rental property management company!!
We owned a rental property in Carolina Beach for 18 years that Victory Beach Vacations (VBV) managed for us from Day 1! We do not live in the vicinity so it was necessary to rely on the judgment and integrity of our rental management company to ensure our renters were comfortable, safe and happy. If there was an issue, no matter what time of the day or night, I knew VBV would take care of it.

There is no question that Victory Beach Vacations is the BEST rental company on Pleasure Island for both renters and owners. Note to renters: if there is a problem, you must call them, don’t just write a bad review. They will take care of things for you and in a very timely manner. And with Victory, problems are unlikely in the first place. They are vigilant about making sure owners prepare well for each rental season, and they provide support for owners as needed to make sure things are done right. – Melanie Knight
Our vacation to Kure Beach was absolutely AMAZING !! We’ve never rented a beach house before but we are now hooked !! Funny…we live in So Cal about 45 min from the beaches but we drove all the way to the East Coast to stay at a beach house …Our vacation to Kure Beach was absolutely AMAZING !! I spoke with several of the Victory Beach team members via phone, email & in person and everyone I spoke with and / or met in person when we arrived were very nice, friendly, professional, helpful…all things good !! The process to rent was easy, check in & out was a breeze, we did not experience anything negative about the process or the property. We will totally recommend Victory Beach Vacations to our friends & will DEFINITELY book with them in the future ! As for the property we rented, as soon as we walked in and my husband saw the ocean thru the living room windows it was love at first sight, he even picked up a couple of real estate papers while we were there to check out properties !! We cannot say enough good things about the Sugar Shack or Kure beach / Carolina beach….maybe we don’t vacation enough or in the right places so are easily impressed but I don’t think so. We loved the feel of the communities, very friendly and laid back and the Sugar Shack…OMG…if I could only win the Lottery !! We had a fabulous stay and are talking about bringing family back there with us on a vacation next year !! Everything was absolutely PERFECT; the location, the layout & openness of their home, how well stocked it is, how it’s beautifully decorated, clean like I’ve never seen, the VIEW….the VIEW !!! To be able to sit comfortably just about anywhere on the back deck or the ‘boardwalk’ to the beach…so many options, to watch the sun come up or go down, we would not change a single thing about the house or the experience ! We SO hated to leave to return to reality ! This is a memory that my husband and I will hold dear to our hearts and cannot wait to come back again ! Hello, I wanted to write a note of thanks and recommendation. I was not sure where this should best post too, so please feel free to post this to the web site and to the owner. We have been coming to Carolina Beach and the Cape Fear and Pleasure Island are for a number of years. Sands IV 1A was definitely a good choice. For this trip it actually was our second choice, but I have to say it will now be a first choice. The owners have kept this unit clean and up to date, the rocking chairs and the porch swing I have to say were actually my favorite features and were very well used for daily sunrise watching (if you stay here, you have to experience at least one sunrise, spectacular). Space was wonderful and furnishings were very comfortable. This was a good choice, it was perfect for us (two adults, two teenagers, and a dog). The very pleasant unexpected feature was the nice sized dog crate in the unit. This was great because we had brought a crate, but having one in the unit meant we did not have to take ours in and out. Nice bonus :). The staff at Victory was attentive and EXTREMELY friendly. They just added to the overall experience being overall good. Owner was also really warm and friendly and made some great food suggestions. If you are new to the area or a frequent returner, you will like this condo, you will like Victory, you will like the private access to the beach, walk to EVERYTHING (boardwalk, Britta, Hang Ten Grill, Squiggleys, Pops, MajikBeans, the Carolina Beach lake walk, Sea Merchants Market, bike and surf board rentals, just an ideal location). Hi Jenna, We had another awesome week at Bali Hai — this was our 8th year. And I wanted to tell you again that Victory Beach exceeded our expectations with your most prompt reaction and solution to the pool issue that was caused by the storm on Wednesday. Your company makes it effortless to plan our vacation the last two years, from booking the unit all the way to check out. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check in and check out take literally only minutes. We rented this same unit last year and were just as pleased this year as we were last. OCEAN DUNES 1503–JULY 24,2011 Many thanks for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation last week. The condo at #1503 Ocean Dunes was clean, comfortable and – best of all – right on the beach for our enjoyment. I can honestly state that this was truly the firsthastle-free vacation experience we have encountered, and we have travelled the world! Special kudos to all of you at Victory who helped us organize this spectacular experience from day one of the process – beginning last year. We would like to return sometime in the future. SEAWATCH -JULY 24, 2011 it’s called Best Vacation in Years… We just returned from a wonderful vacation with our extended family in the Seawatch Community at Kure Beach. We made last minute arrangements and found the staff at Victory wonderful to work with. Angie, the office manager was especially helpful and went out of her way to get us information about the property. The house we stayed in was beautiful the owners did a wonderful job!! The web site did a great job in representing the features of the house and giving us a good idea of what to expect. The house far exceeded our expectations and the staff at Victory was extremely accommodating. We arrived early and they had worked hard to get us in before the 4:00 check in, which was greatly appreciated. They made a follow up call once we were in the house to make sure things were well and see if we had any questions. They did a great job in telling us about the area and local attractions such as fireworks and family movie night. Check out was a breeze and we enjoyed meeting all of the staff. We will definitely will be back next year. The experience with Victory, the house and area was just perfect!!! Very relaxing! SHERRY
SAND PEBBLES 27A JULY 26 2011- We just returned from our first vacation to Carolina Beach. I found our condo on Victory Beach website. We stayed at Sand Peebles Unit 27A and it was fantastic. I could not have asked for a better experience from Victory. They were quick and extremely pleasant in response to my questions. I wanted to rent from a local company just in case things were not as presented on the website. The unit was better than the website. It was spotless, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was as comfortable as being at home. Check in was a breeze and we actually got in a little earlier than 4:00 which was great. If I had any complaint at all- I sure wish there was an elevator but I got my excercise at least. Check out was as easy as check in it took maybe 5 mins when we checked in and less when checking out. Everyone we spoke to at Victory was nice and accommadating and assured us they would be there if we had any problems, fortunately we had none. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have every taken. Thank you Victory!! If you come to Carolina Beach here are my recommendations: Do take the Ferry to Southport very quaint beautiful town. Go to Fort Fisher and experience the history. If you are looking to go out fishing use Southern Sports Fishing (southernsportfishing.net). We took two 14 year old girls out in the ocean fishing and Capt. Andy Everhart made sure they caught some fish. He and his first mate Austin were awesome. We all had a wonderful time. You have to go eat at Michael;s Seafood – Shrimp and Grits are to die for. Britt’s Doughnuts at the Boardwalk are worth every calorie. And of course sit on the uncrowded beach and enjoy every minute of it. The Dellinger Family
HAWKS IN THE HEEL – SEPTEMBER 25, 2011 I just want you and your staff to know that vacationing with you was a pleasure. From the time the reservation was made until we arrive the professionalism and friendly service was outstanding. Once we saw the Hawks on the Hill property we knew that the vacation had truly began. First the place was very clean and nicely decorated, bottom line the place was as it was depicted on the website. it is because of things such as customer services, cleanliness, location and space of Hawks on the Hill property that we are making plans for next year. CASABLANCA HOUSE ON KURE BEACH, NC SEPTEMBER 15, 2011 This is a WONDERFUL, comfortable, nicely decorated family beach house. It is FULLY stocked with all of your cooking and eating necessities! Everything was so clean! It truly felt like our home away from home! We enjoyed our days on the ocean front beach as well as many starry nights on the HUGE ocean front deck! We survived some high tides that left some of the beach with a wall of sand. This allowed us to make many sand castles that were not washed away! We’ll also remember sitting at the kitchen table when the earth quake rumbled our chairs, and at the end of the week having to pack up early before the Hurricane hit the island. Oh and we can’t forget the walks on the beach at night searching for “ghost crabs”! All in all we can’t wait to come back again next year to Casablanca! Lori & Mike O’Sullivan
My family and I stayed at The Sand Castle in Kure Beach for one week in August of 2011. We were unbelievably amazed at the house we rented. It was huge in every way. We have two small grandchildren and they had plenty of room to play inside. The master bedroom was gorgeous, and all the other bedrooms were very spacious. They even have have a laundry room! The closet space made me wish I could stay there all the time! There are closets in every room and in the hallways, so you couldn’t possibly run out of space. The layout is perfect, and the elevator was a huge help, as our mother-in-law has trouble with steps, so this was a blessing. The house was immaculate and the rental agency was so helpful when we had questions. We’ve already put a deposit on this house for next year because our whole family fell in love with it. It is close to the beach, close to shopping and the pool was an added bonus. I can’t say anything negative about this house or the rental agency. When we arrived, the staff at Victory was so warm and welcoming and they didn’t rush us like another agency did last year in Carolina Beach. Victory Beach Vacations will be our renal agency forever! Ten years ago, we saw a brochure for Victory Beach Vacations in a pizza shop in our hometown in PA. We knew nothing of the area, but decided to come to Carolina Beach, NC for a vacation. We put a tremendous amount of trust in VBV and drove the 9 hours – sight unseen – for our vacation. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations recommended, and we have been coming back year after year. LJC – Aug 23, 2011 We just returned a few weeks ago from a fabulous vacation at Kure Beach. We rented our home from Victory Beach Vacations and had a wonderful experience. We have been going to Kure Beach for over 10 years and have never had as clean a house as this one and this will be one of the main reasons we will return next year. In fact we have already made our reservations! They called us when the unit was ready and we were able to get in a few hours prior to check in time. Great Customer Service. My family and I recently spent a wonderful week at the Sea Watch community of Kure Beach – it was our annual summer vacation, and we truly enjoyed every single day of our stay. Our beach house was very clean, well-kept, nicely furnished, and exactly what we hoped for when we made our reservations…it was even nicer than the photos on the Victory Beach web site indicated. And the private amenities at Sea Watch, such as the outdoor pool, tennis courts, and playground, were equally as nice. We literally began and ended most days with a refreshing dip in the pool; it also was very clean and never crowded. One of the things we enjoyed most about our beach house was the large and shaded wrap-around deck just off the main level. Our family enjoyed part of everyday in the rockers (five of them), relaxing and taking in the beauty and serenity around us. We also found the surrounding areas in town – from historic Old Towne Wilmington to Carolina Beach to Fort Fisher – to be very welcoming with things to do literally within minutes of our beach house. Some of the things we personally enjoyed, and there were many of them, included gluten-free pizza at Uncle Vinny’s(my wife has a gluten allergy), frozen yogurt at the Fuzzy Peach, spending time at the Boardwalk and nearby shops, the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning, the Cotton Exchange and Kilwin’s Ice Cream Shop (a great place for anyone with a sweet tooth) in Old Towne Wilmington, and dinner with friends at Elijah’s and The George restaurants along the Cape Fear River (the food and ambience were nothing short of incredible). There was something to do for everyone in the family. Our week-long vacation at Sea Watch ended all too quickly, and we were saddened when it was time to check out. We’re an average middle-aged family with four sons, and I can honestly say this was the best family vacation we’ve taken. The beach house was everything we hoped for, and the staff at Victory Beach made things very easy from start to finish…they were a pleasure to work with in every respect. We’ve already made our reservations (same house) for next year’s summer vacation, and our entire family is looking forward to it. Thank you, Victory Beach, we had a wonderful time!
