For more than 35 years, the family-owned operation at Gulfstream Restaurant has been welcoming locals and visitors alike to enjoy fresh seafood right on the water. You can enjoy a fantastic meal any time of the day, from specialty omelets in the morning to beer-battered fish tacos for dinner. The restaurant was renovated in 2014 and invites all its guests to relax in the nautical-themed dining room.
Gulfstream Restaurant is located at 78 Myrtle Avenue. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Sunday’s hours are from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Cape Fear Boil Company
Called “The Best Pot on the Beach,” Cape Fear Boil Company takes pride in providing fresh, local catches for everyone in the area. Their boils include authentic Louisiana spicy andouille sausage, as well as Carolina Beach seafood options like snow crab legs, oysters, and more. You can even order a to-go pot to enjoy on your own!
Cape Fear Boil Company is located at 1140 Lake Park Boulevard. They are open daily from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., though these hours are subject to seasonality.
Shuckin’ Shack
This restaurant is perfect for relaxing with your favorite people and enjoying some delicious food. Grab a drink and catch the game, or sit outside and enjoy the view with your meal. Favorite dishes here include seafood classics like oysters, lobster rolls, and shrimp.

Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar

Michael’s Seafood Restaurant
Established in 1998, Michael’s Seafood Restaurant is known for its award-winning chowder, but it’s the seaside décor and friendly staff that keep people coming back. Though founder Michael McGowan passed away in 2012, his legacy lives on through dishes like shrimp and grits, mini lobster cakes, and the seafood mac and cheese bake. Stick around after your meal and select a cocktail from the extensive drink menu.
