Wonderful Week at Carolina Beach!

I’m going to start with the bad and end with the good since the good far outweighs the bad. We were disappointed that there really wasn’t an ocean view. If an adult stands on the top balcony and leans over the railing, he or she can get a glimpse of a sliver of the ocean, but no more. So technically there is an ocean view, but not really. That being said, we still thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent on the porches. They are spacious, the rocking chairs are comfortable, and a nice breeze from the ocean blows right through them. Speaking of the ocean, did I mention how close and easy of a walk it is to the beach? I have 2 very bad knees right now, and I could make the walk… slowly… but easily. The townhome itself is lovely and spacious. There were 9 of us, 7 adults and two small children and there was ample room to spare. Tons of sleeping options, including cots are provided. Be advised that there have been changes since the photos were taken. There is no longer a sleeper couch in the master, but the house still easily sleeps 11. The beds are comfortable too. No complaints from anyone. The master en suite is AMAZING, the kitchen is well stocked, the backyard is a nice place to gather, eat, make s’mores and play the corn hole game provided, and the owners provide umbrellas and chairs for the beach. I could go on and on. It really is a nice rental. So nice that as of right now, we are planning to go back next year. Last but not least, I cannot say enough good things about Victory Beach Vacations. My husband and I are in our early 50s and we’ve gone on a lot of vacations over the years and dealt with a lot of rental companies. Victory Beach Vacations is hands down the BEST RENTAL AGENCY we have ever worked with! We had a few minor issues at the beginning of the week, and they were quick to respond and on top of taking care of what needed to be done! Communication is excellent. House was immaculate. Check in and out was simple. Overall a wonderful group to work with. We will never rent with anyone other than Victory Beach Vacations again!
