It’s the most wonderful time of the year, for some. March Madness! For most North Carolina college basketball fans, Friday is a BIG day. In a span of eight hours, Duke, Carolina, and NC State will begin their games in hope to make it all the way. It doesn’t get much better than that, folks. This rare occurrence of all 3 teams playing on the same day will start off with NC State at 12:40 PM in Columbus, Ohio. Next, Carolina will play in Greensboro and Duke following right after the Heels. If all three teams dominate, they will take the court again on Sunday. According to the NCAA tournament history, when all 3 teams have played on the same day, memories have been made. Whether the NC teams ironically lose like on “Black Sunday” in 1979 or have a dramatic, awesome wins, it make makes vivid history. North Carolina, the No. 1 seed in the Midwest regional, Duke, No. 2 seed in the South Regional, and NC State have the choice to pave their paths to the Sweet 16. Will it be a bumping ride for the teams or a smooth sailing? Friday is the day fans will see all 3 NC college team’s future unravel in the tournament. Who will take it to the Sweet 16? Who will dominate to make it in the Final Four? WHO WILL CONQUER ALL AND BE NAMED CHAMPIONS???
