The 21st Annual Pleasure Island Seafood Blues & Jazz Festival is October 11th & 12th! Located at the Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Center – you don’t want to miss these headliners, The Robert Cray Band and Delbert McClinton. Robert Cray has been featured in Rolling Stones Magazine, is a 5-time Grammy award winner and is known as “one of the greatest guitarists of his generation.” Delbert McClinton is a 3-time Grammy award winner… you won’t want to miss his harmonica skills and soulful music.
Shemekia Copeland, the NEW “Queen of the Blues” will open for The Robert Cray Band on Saturday. And, expect to hear Damon Fowler, one of the hottest young players on the blues scene, opening for Delbert McClinton on Sunday.
Tickets are just $50 in advance for a 2-Day Pass. If the event doesn’t sell out, you can expect a $60 admission at the door on Saturday or $25 admission on Sunday.
